Meet Our Founder
Matthew Lieberman, Principal
Matt founded SoCali Hospitality in 2024 and brings over 20 years of experience working in executive accounting and private equity finance within the hospitality and real estate industry. He has held leadership roles with Hyatt, Two Roads Hospitality, Highgate Hotels, Joie de Vivre, Destination Hotels, King and Grove, Chelsea Hotels, Noble House Hotels, and Ramius Capital Group.
Throughout his career, Matt has served in various leadership positions, from Assistant Controller to Chief Financial Officer, at both property and management company positions.
He holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from City University of New York and a bachelor's degree in Economics from University of Cincinnati. Matt is CPA eligible and CHAE certified.
